About the show
Rush focuses on the elite Tactical Response (TR) team, which is trained to respond to a crisis in record time. Fast, courageous and irreverent, they're a bunch of supremely trained young cops, working as a 24-hour mobile team.

Meet the characters
Brendan "Josh" Joshua played by Callan Mulvey
As the team's highly respected sergeant, Josh doesn't give much away. He is an invaluable member of the squad and Lawson's right-hand man in the grimmest situations.
Dominic Wales played by Josef Ber
TR's Mr Nice, Dom always puts family first. He might be good at explosive devices, but the others know he's got some work to do on his other skills. He isn't very committed and his fitness is slipping.
Grace Barry played by Claire Van Der Boom
Grace is a dedicated senior constable whose husband's keen for her to quit the job. She has a bit of the arrogance of a spoilt kid and a short fuse — it's always clear where you stand.
Kerry Vincent played by Catherine McClements
The team's new inspector, Kerry has just split up with her husband. She is a natural leader who can be overbearing, even bullying at times. She never admits mistakes and never admits to never admitting mistakes.
Lawson Blake played by Rodger Corser
Team leader Lawson is TR's head honcho — until Kerry turns up. He is the guy everyone in the squad would tell you they want around when things go bad. He's tough and level-headed in a crisis and he'll always look after you.
Leon Broznic played by Samuel Johnson
TR's techie, desk-bound Leon doesn't see as much action as the others, but he is an integral part of the team. In any situation requiring his help, Leon is almost always a critical beat ahead of the others on the ground.
Michael Sandrelli played by Ashley Zukerman
The cocksure newbie whose arrogance hides insecurities, Michael's always had a strong sense of right and wrong. But that wasn't the reason he became a copper. He just wanted to work in a job that was exciting and gave him the opportunity to rise quickly through the ranks.
Stella Dagostino played by Nicole Da Silva
Feisty constable Stella comes from a family of cops — her father and two brothers are cops. She was kind of born to do this, so she's never really thought about any other career. Stella is currently having relationship troubles.
